Asian markets turn positive, Gold dips below $1210

Asian markets are trading on a higher note at the start of a new week. Still many of the global markets remain close in the observance of the Easter Monday.

Yellow metal dips below $1210 in Asian hours ahead of number of economic indicators from U.S. due at 1230 GMT. The yen eased in Asia on Monday with spending and jobs data ahead in Japan this week. USD/JPY remains supported above 113 and trading around 113.62 marks.

The Japan’s Nikkei 225 index was trading 0.77% higher at 17,134.38 points.

China’s CSI300 was trading 0.52% higher at 3214.59 points.

South Korea's Kospi index was trading 0.10% higher to 1,985.89 points on Monday.

Taiwan index was trading 0.10% lower at 8695 points at the start of new week.
