As Atlassian prepares to report its quarter ended Sept. 30, Oppenheimer’s revenue projection is $68 million above the company’s upper guidance limit for fiscal 2027’s first quarter.
Atlassian set a revenue outlook of $1.705 billion to $1.715 billion for the period, while Oppenheimer’s estimate is $1.783 billion. That projection is about 4% above the $1.714 billion analyst consensus; the consensus sits just $1 million below the upper end of Atlassian’s range. Atlassian has not reported its September-quarter result, so the estimate remains a forecast rather than a company result. The split leaves market consensus inside Atlassian’s band, while Oppenheimer’s projection is above it.
If sales reach that level, revenue would be 24.5% higher than Atlassian’s $1.4326 billion result in the year-earlier quarter. That implies an increase of roughly $350 million, using Oppenheimer’s forecast against Atlassian’s reported prior-year figure. Atlassian’s fiscal year spans July through June, making the quarter ended Sept. 30 its first of FY27.
Oppenheimer connected the estimate to steady paid-seat growth and ongoing customer migrations away from Data Center. Atlassian’s subscription revenue rose 27% in fiscal 2026, reflecting added seats at existing accounts and price increases. That annual figure describes earlier performance but does not establish what drove sales in Q1 FY27.
Atlassian introduced its latest cloud list-price changes on Oct. 13, after the September quarter ended. For Jira Cloud Standard, the annual charge covering 100 users rose to $9,700 from $9,050. Those price revisions took effect after the quarter’s close.
In the preceding quarter, Atlassian reported total revenue of $1.766 billion, including $1.213 billion in cloud revenue, up 31% year over year. Oppenheimer’s Q1 estimate is $17 million above that total, although the figures relate to separate quarters. Results are due after market close Nov. 5, and Atlassian’s conference call is set for 5 p.m. ET (22:00 UTC).
