Auto Finance Summit 2016, that aims to bring together the most influential executives in the auto finance industry, has announced a panel that will explore how auto finance can take advantage of blockchain technology.
According to the summit website, the world’s largest auto finance event will take place from October 5 to 7 at Las Vegas. The panel titled ‘Futurewatch: Business Models of Tomorrow’ will address on potentials of blockchain technology in auto finance industry and also discuss the ridesharing revolution and new ways to leverage marketplace lending.
The event will feature series of workshops and presentations and will see over 110 banks, more than 30 credit unions and over 10 auto companies. The 2016 speakers of the event include senior executives from finance industries like Colin Hector, Attorney of Federal Trade Commission’s Division of Financial Practices; Charles Jones, head dealer of financial services at SunTrust; Craig Schleicher, senior manager at PwC among others. Registrations are open to be a part of the event.
