It would seem that the reports and rumors about “Avengers: Endgame” have reached a fever pitch of late, with there being a lot of speculations regarding the film. Some of these recent reports suggest that the upcoming superhero flick will feature the single biggest cast lineup in Marvel history. On top of the Avengers brought back to life, there might even more characters who will be resurrected.
As ScreenRant notes, for example, there have been many reports with regards to possible returning characters. They include Howard Stark (John Slattery), Peggy Carter (Hayley Atwell), and Queen Frigga (Rene Russo). Fans of the MCU will likely already know that these characters died way before Thanos (Josh Brolin) snapped his fingers. This is why the rumors of their appearance in “Avengers: Endgame” are so interesting.
It has also been hinted that “Avengers: Endgame” will see the surviving heroes travel farther back in time than just before Thanos’ infamous snap. They might even revisit some areas and scenes from the older Marvel movies, which would be awesome. It would also serve as an excellent way to tie everything together since fans already know that this upcoming “Avengers” film is the last for some of the cast.
Speaking of resurrections in “Avengers: Endgame,” it would appear that the events in the movie will also have a profound impact on Marvel’s TV universe. Specifically, it might affect Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD if the promo clip below is anything to go by. Viewers can once again say hello to Agent Coulson.
It’s likely that another trailer or a series of trailers for “Avengers: Endgame” will come out before the movie premieres. Whatever the case may be, April 26 is going to be a memorable day both for the fans of the franchise and those who worked hard on the film.
