BOC Group’s ADOIT 21 adds a natural-language assistant and configurable dashboards to enterprise architecture software, while a connector maps application use in ADONIS to matching business processes in ADOIT.

Users can query the ADOIT repository through chat to locate architecture information. The assistant follows each user’s existing access permissions, but it is restricted to the Enterprise Edition and requires an administrator to enable it and configure an AI provider. It can create repository objects with names and descriptions and establish relationships; BOC’s release notes say other repository changes must be made through ADOIT components.

Users can also customize the “Read & Explore” landing page as a dashboard, arranging architecture models with charts or tables. Updated ADONIS Connect transfers application-usage details from ADONIS process models, BPMN tasks and subprocesses to matching ArchiMate business processes in ADOIT. The feature requires ADONIS 19.1 or later and is subject to ADOIT Enterprise Edition and licensing conditions.

BOC’s documentation lists ADOIT 21.0 LTS for SaaS and on-premises customers. On-premises deployments can run on Linux in OCI-compliant containers managed through Kubernetes or Docker Compose. Other updates include an ArchiMate Pattern Library curated by BOC staff and consultants, workspace improvements, and clearer status and deadline information in ADOIT Forms, an add-on module.

BOC describes ADOIT as software for mapping relationships among business assets, applications and technology. The company says enterprise architecture work can demand detailed familiarity with repository contents, and presents the assistant as a way to help users across roles find information. BOC identifies architecture teams and employees in other business functions as intended users of the expanded access. Christoph Moser, ADOIT product manager at BOC Group, said the update would make enterprise architecture “more accessible, relevant, and connected.”
