Banner Capital said Monday that its Roof Restoration Group (RRG) completed its first partnership with Oklahoma contractor Exterior Solutions Group (ESG) as it seeks to build a network of founder-led commercial roofers.
Based in Edmond, ESG handles roof replacement, restoration and facility maintenance for colleges, K-12 public school districts and commercial property owners, Banner said.
Banner said ESG founder Kyle Crawford would continue leading the contractor and had joined RRG’s board. Banner said Crawford had reinvested alongside Banner and RRG executives. The announcement did not disclose a transaction value, ownership percentages or other financial terms.
RRG is part of Banner’s Fund II and aims to partner with commercial roofing businesses across the Southwest and beyond. Banner says contractors can retain their crews, brands and customer relationships while using shared finance, purchasing, safety and national sales services.
Crawford said the additional support would help ESG grow while it continues its existing work. Banner said it managed $611 million in assets as of June 30.
Banner said RRG expects to pursue further partnerships with founder-led commercial roofers. It gave no timetable for another agreement.
