Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner broke up after 10 years of marriage. They called it quits in 2015 but their divorce was finalized only in 2018. The pair has three children Violet, Seraphina and Samuel.
Ben’s biggest regret
It has been five years since they publicly announced their separation and earlier this year, Ben Affleck confessed that his divorce with Jennifer Garner is his biggest regret. He further said that he definitely made mistakes but he is learning from it.
“The biggest regret of my life is this divorce,” he told The New York Times. “Shame is really toxic. There is no positive byproduct of shame. It’s just stewing in a toxic, hideous feeling of low self-worth and self-loathing.”
Yearning for a reunion with ex-wife
Australia’s Woman’s Day reported that “The Way Back” actor admitted to some of his pals that he wants Jen back. He is said to be hoping that his ex-wife will give him another chance.
“Ben hit rock bottom when their marriage hit troubled waters and he turned to drinking which was the death knell,” an insider supposedly told the magazine. “But he’s put the work in and Jen has been supportive and seen how far he’s come. Ben is hopeful she will be able to find it within herself to give it another shot.”
Some of the couple’s friends are said to be positive about the possible reunion of Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner. They explained that they think it can happen because the actress has not fully closed her doors for her ex-husband either.
“I think Jen would consider taking him back,” the so-called source claimed. “She never stopped loving him - though I’m sure he would need to commit to therapy for his compulsions for the rest of their lives together."
The truth
Now, this story is a rumor so Gossip Cop sets out to find the truth about Ben Affleck’s wish to reunite with Jennifer Garner. The publication explained that although it didn’t have enough proof to directly dismissed this claim, it can say that the report is not true because the actor’s words in his interview with The New York Times have been twisted to make it appear he wants his ex-wife back.
Furthermore, both Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner are now happy with their current partners Ana de Armas and John Miller, respectively. The actress and her businessman boyfriend have been together since 2018.
