A Saturday, Oct. 17 reading of Binance’s Ether perpetual market showed $8.52 million more in displayed sell orders than buy orders, while spot books on Binance and Coinbase leaned the other way.
The Binance perpetual book listed $45.83 million in asks, or sell orders, and $37.31 million in bids, or buy orders. That left $8,524,100 more value posted on the sell side. Ether (ETH) was priced at $2,402.15 in the same reading.
Both Binance and Coinbase spot books showed greater buy-side depth than sell-side depth. EconoTimes previously reported a bid-side lead in an earlier Binance Ether spot-book reading. The spot and perpetual readings showed opposite displayed order balances.
