On Sunday, Binance recorded a $1.02 billion net outflow after withdrawals had reopened, offering an early indication of customer funds moving to and from the exchange.

Binance said deposits remained available while withdrawals were paused after a security incident. It expected withdrawals to resume within one or two days, according to Binance’s earlier withdrawal update.

The same snapshot put total platform assets at $156.192 billion. That total describes holdings on the exchange and is separate from net customer movement.

The net figure combines movements in both directions during the period: deposits reduced the reported outflow. The $1.02 billion balance therefore does not reveal gross withdrawal volume.

The asset figure describes platform holdings at that point. It cannot be used to calculate how much customers withdrew.
