The entry concerns one position, not Binance’s total liquidations. A separate EconoTimes tally covered three exchanges and a different one-hour period.

Binance recorded the forced close of a $2.83 million Bitcoin (BTC) long position late Thursday, a single entry that does not represent the exchange’s total liquidation activity.

The record puts the liquidation at $81,904 and dates the event to Oct. 15 at 11:32 p.m. ET (Oct. 16 at 03:32 UTC). The $2.83 million figure is the position’s value, while $81,904 is its liquidation price.

An earlier EconoTimes report counted $49.33 million in liquidations across Binance, Bybit and OKX during a separate one-hour period Thursday, with $46.40 million coming from long positions. That window ended at 9:55 a.m. ET (13:55 UTC), hours before this Binance entry. The earlier three-exchange tally describes a separate market snapshot, not a combined total with this individual position.
