Binance reported two distinct measures in its latest account of the hot-wallet breach: $6 billion in losses covered and replenishment of about 90% of affected assets.

Binance’s reserve disclosure marked 10 assets as fully backed: BNB, Bitcoin (BTC), Ether (ETH), RLUSD, Solana (SOL), Tether (USDT), USD Coin (USDC), USD1, XRP and Zcash (ZEC). That designation describes the listed assets’ reserve backing; Binance’s roughly 90% estimate tracks replenishment of breach-affected assets.

Binance had earlier put recovery at 80%, while its latest reported estimate remained about 90%. The disclosure followed the Oct. 30 hot-wallet breach.

Binance previously said it had set aside more than $6.34 billion for breach losses, including $5 billion in affected tokens, and was acquiring the balance, as described in its earlier loss allocation. The exchange said users would not bear the incident’s financial impact.
