A change scheduled for 2:30 a.m. ET (06:30 UTC) Thursday will lower quote steps for three Binance perpetual markets and raise them for two.
BILLUSDT, IDOLUSDT and ESPORTSUSDT will each move from 0.00001 to 0.000001. The two increases are for BRUSDT, from 0.00001 to 0.0001, and AGTUSDT, from 0.000001 to 0.00001.
A tick size is the smallest price step a trader can enter in a quote. Smaller increments allow finer quotes, while larger steps reduce that granularity.
Futures trading will continue while the change is applied. Orders entered beforehand will stay open and keep matching at their existing increments. Binance’s futures API will show the revised tick sizes.
