A Binance spot-market reading put Bitcoin (BTC) at $84,022 at 10:25 a.m. ET (14:25 UTC) Wednesday, Oct. 21, placing it above $84,000 after a $130 rise over the previous 15 minutes.
The earlier reading was $83,892, or $108 below $84,000. The later quote was $22 above that level.
A separate measure showed BTC up 0.30% over the hour ending at 10:25 a.m. ET. That hourly change covers a longer period than the comparison between the two spot readings.
The snapshot also listed a 2.11% hourly rise and a 3.38% gain over 24 hours; all figures in it are unverified.
