U.S. spot Bitcoin (BTC) exchange-traded funds (ETFs) recorded $635.6 million in net withdrawals Thursday, Oct. 22, turning October’s balance to an estimated $175.6 million deficit in Farside Investors’ daily series.

Farside Investors’ figures show net withdrawals of $614.7 million through Oct. 16. Inflows of $1.0747 billion over Oct. 19-21 lifted the monthly balance to about $460 million positive before Thursday’s withdrawal erased that gain.

The providers’ Oct. 21 totals differed slightly: Farside listed $524.8 million in inflows, while SoSoValue’s tally was $528.4 million. EconoTimes previously covered SoSoValue’s Oct. 21 tally.

Farside’s fund-level figures showed Morgan Stanley’s MSBT was the only listed product with net inflows, at $2.3 million. ARK 21Shares Bitcoin ETF (ARKB) recorded $109.4 million in net outflows; Grayscale Bitcoin Trust (GBTC) had $29.5 million, and Bitwise Bitcoin ETF (BITB) lost $27.4 million.

The withdrawal interrupted three consecutive sessions of positive daily totals. The two preceding weekly periods showed net withdrawals of $228 million and $681 million, respectively.
