Bitcoin (BTC) closed Oct. 19 at $81,875, about 2% below its Sept. 30 level, even as a $526.7 million U.S. spot ETF inflow cut the funds’ October net outflow to $88 million.

Farside Investors’ daily figures showed the Oct. 19 inflow following net withdrawals of $228.4 million across Oct. 12-16. The funds had recorded $614.7 million in October outflows through Oct. 16. Their 2026 total was still about $355.1 million in net inflows through that date, according to earlier EconoTimes coverage of Bitcoin ETF flows.

CoinGecko’s UTC-based historical data put Bitcoin’s Sept. 30 close at $83,576 and its Oct. 19 close at $81,875. Neither the flow totals nor the closing prices identify what prompted the fund activity or the monthly decline.

The funds offer investors Bitcoin exposure through shares held in brokerage accounts. Federal Reserve policymakers are due to meet Oct. 27–28.
