CoinGecko and exchange spot data showed Bitcoin (BTC) at $75,727 as of 5:41 p.m. ET Nov. 5 (22:41 UTC), down 6.3% over the previous 24 hours.

Ether (ETH) stood at $2,230.66 at the same observation time, down 8.61% over the 24 hours before the snapshot. Both assets were lower on that measure, and Ether recorded the larger percentage decline. Both prices are denominated in U.S. dollars.

The dollar figures are spot prices at a specific time, while the percentage changes compare each asset with its price 24 hours earlier. The two measures describe separate crypto assets and should not be read as a single market-wide return.

The snapshot establishes where the assets were priced at 5:41 p.m. ET, but it does not show how either price moved during the preceding day. Nor does it indicate what happened after the observation time. The figures provide a time-bounded comparison rather than a session close.
