Miners’ combined Bitcoin (BTC) holdings rose by 379 BTC during the week to 1,192,622 BTC; on Oct. 17, the network’s seven-day hash-rate average was 1,031.61 EH/s, highest since May 29.

The seven-day average measured 1,031.61 exahashes per second (EH/s), about 44.08 EH/s above the level a week earlier. It followed a three-week low recorded in late September. The metric records Bitcoin’s computing capacity, but does not reveal by itself whether miners’ returns changed.

Miners held 1,192,622 BTC in total on Oct. 17, after the weekly increase. At 0.99, the Puell Multiple was 0.14 lower than a week earlier. It gauges each day’s new BTC issuance in dollar terms against a rolling 365-day baseline. A 0.99 result places that daily figure just below its 365-day norm.
