A Deribit $82,000 Bitcoin (BTC) call expiring Nov. 6 ranked first by 24-hour volume as Coinglass data put total options open interest at $28.36 billion in a Saturday snapshot.

At 7:21 a.m. ET (11:21 UTC) Oct. 31, open interest was 3.60% above the $27.37 billion recorded a day earlier. Calls represented 57.77% of outstanding positions, compared with 42.23% for puts. Of $4.54 billion in 24-hour trading volume, calls accounted for 57.42% and puts 42.58%.

The Nov. 6 $85,000 call ranked second by volume, followed by the Nov. 13 $74,000 put. All three contracts were on Deribit. The largest open-interest positions were a Dec. 25 $80,000 call, a $60,000 put and a $100,000 call, also on Deribit.

The latest figure is below the $37.70 billion Coinglass snapshot covered in EconoTimes' Oct. 27 Bitcoin options report.

Open interest counts contracts that remain outstanding; trading volume measures contracts traded during the 24-hour period. A larger share of calls does not by itself show a market direction, since options activity can reflect speculation or hedging.
