Bitcoin (BTC) was nearly unchanged at $77,793 as of 12:50 UTC Monday, while earlier data pointed to higher turnover and network use, giving investors a mixed read on market activity.

At 7:41 a.m. ET (12:41 UTC), CryptoQuant data showed Bitcoin at $77,674, down 0.11%, with trading volume at $15.01 billion, up 19.39%. Exchange reserves stood at 2,441,742 BTC, down 0.81%, and net flows showed 19,745 BTC leaving exchanges.

Coin Metrics recorded 604,807 active addresses on Nov. 1, compared with 588,825 in an earlier reading. The Fear and Greed Index rose to 37 from 34 in the prior session, but remained in fear territory and below the previous week's reading of 50.

These measures answer different questions. The volume total includes both sides of trades, so it cannot show whether buying dominated. Net exchange outflows measure the balance of BTC entering and leaving platforms, but do not show how long withdrawn coins will stay off exchanges. Address counts track network participation, but cannot show how many investors are new.

An EconoTimes Bitcoin snapshot from Oct. 31 recorded a separate price reading of $77,420.
