Bitcoin Cycle Index Stands at 15.8% as a Second Gauge Remains Low

CryptoZeno, writing on CryptoQuant, said the readings do not confirm a market bottom and the oscillator showed no clear upward signal.

Bitcoin's cycle indicators remain at low readings, and CryptoZeno said they do not establish that the market has reached a bottom or that selling has ended. The gauges offer no confirmation yet that the correction is over.

In a Nov. 5 post on CryptoQuant, CryptoZeno put the 30-day moving average of the Bitcoin Cycle Extremes Index at 15.8%. The post places that reading in the “Watch / Mild Pressure” zone, below levels associated with the index's more active phases.

A second measure, the Cycle Extreme Oscillator, also remained low. Its 30-day moving average was below 1.0 and near the lower end of its historical range, with no comparable increase visible, CryptoZeno wrote.

CryptoZeno described the readings as consistent with a subdued, corrective market phase. They leave open the possibility of more sideways trading or a further decline, rather than showing that selling pressure has run its course.

The post said the index rose sharply during the 2021 cycle and the 2024-2025 advance. For the current reading, CryptoZeno said a sustained move toward the Active Phase would carry more weight if the oscillator recovered at the same time. The post did not identify a scheduled event or date for that signal.

The question of whether Bitcoin has found a low has also featured in earlier EconoTimes coverage of trader Killa's faster-cycle scenario. Killa tied that scenario to a low already being in place; CryptoZeno's indicators do not confirm one.
