At 3:38 a.m. ET, an earlier Binance spot quote put Bitcoin at $83,012. That reading followed a $171 rise from $82,841 over the preceding 15 minutes. The next snapshot placed Bitcoin $251 lower.
Separately, Bitcoin was down 0.02% over the hour ending at 3:53 a.m. ET. That one-hour measure covers a different period from the drop between the two spot quotes.
