Mataf’s conversion data show Bitcoin (BTC) bought less silver on Oct. 12 than a week earlier, a decline in the cryptocurrency’s value relative to the metal despite a higher reading than in August.

The table lists 970.8590 ounces of silver per bitcoin for Aug. 10. It then shows 1,408.4560 on Oct. 5 and 1,357.0047 on Oct. 12.

The figures compare the two assets’ values; they do not provide separate price movements for either one. The ratio alone therefore cannot establish which asset drove the weekly change.
