Bitcoin (BTC) has been rebounding for about 100 days and remains below its previous all-time high near $126,000, a gap that shows why elapsed time alone cannot mark a return to the record.
Bitcoin reached that peak shortly before the October 2025 sell-off. A rebound starts from a lower price after a decline, so tracking its duration answers a different question from measuring the distance back to the peak.
The percentage fall is measured against the high; a recovery’s gain is measured against a lower trough. Those separate reference points mean equal percentage changes in opposite directions do not return the price to where it started.
The 100-day milestone describes the rebound so far. By itself, it does not establish that a broader market cycle has changed direction. EconoTimes previously covered Bitcoin’s October price action.
