Bitcoin (BTC) led the non-stablecoin cryptocurrency entries on both sides of a Cryptometer trading snapshot reported Oct. 19.

The reading put Bitcoin’s inflow at $31.44 million and its outflow at $45.26 million. Each was the largest amount among the non-stablecoin cryptocurrencies on its respective list.

Among non-stablecoin cryptocurrencies, Ether (ETH) followed Bitcoin on the inflow side with $26.77 million and recorded $11.15 million in outflows. Zcash (ZEC) registered $6.65 million on the inflow side and $16.16 million on the outflow side, placing third and second, respectively, among non-stablecoin cryptocurrencies. The outflow list also showed $7.51 million for Sui (SUI).

Cryptometer calculates its dollar figures from aggregated trading activity across asset pairs. Its inflow and outflow labels describe reported trading flows; the amounts do not establish that funds were transferred between accounts or that fresh cash entered the market. Bitcoin’s place atop both non-stablecoin lists therefore reflects activity in opposing directions, rather than a one-way flow.

Stablecoins featured on both sides of the reading. The inflow side showed $65.40 million in trading flows involving Tether (USDT), while the outflow side listed $53.18 million involving USD Coin (USDC) and $42.31 million involving USDT. Those figures describe trades involving the stablecoins, not documented wallet transfers.

The fiat-currency entries included €9.82 million in euro flows and $4.47 million in U.S. dollar flows on the inflow side. Outflow-side entries included $29.33 million in U.S. dollar flows, $5.21 million in Turkish lira flows and $4.24 million in South Korean won flows.

An earlier EconoTimes report on an Oct. 18 Cryptometer snapshot also placed Bitcoin first for inflows, at $100.42 million. Ether led that reading’s outflow list at $8.92 million.
