Bitcoin (BTC) traded below an hourly chart trigger early Monday, while a separate daily analysis set nearby resistance, making closing prices on two timeframes central to the next technical readings.
At 3:27 a.m. ET (07:27 UTC), BTC was $82,762.43 on Binance. Its rolling 24-hour high at that time was $82,810.64, also below the $82,951.49 hourly trigger identified in The Cryptonomist’s chart analysis.
That analysis requires an hourly close above $82,951.49 to confirm its breakout signal. The price at 3:27 a.m. and the rolling high were neither a completed hourly close above the trigger. For the same setup, an hourly finish below the $82,818.75 pivot would count against the bullish case.
DailyForex Chief Analyst and Director of Content Adam Lemon separately placed resistance at $82,875 on a daily chart. His potential swing-trend signal depends on a daily close above that price. The daily test uses a different timeframe from The Cryptonomist’s hourly close.
