MicroStrategy co-founder Michael Saylor stunned the Bitcoin 2024 audience with a prediction that Bitcoin's price will hit $13 million per coin by 2045.

Bold BTC Predictions for 2045

Michael Saylor, a vocal co-founder of MicroStrategy, a business analytics firm, gave a very bullish keynote speech at the Bitcoin 2024 conference on July 26, predicting that Bitcoin's price would reach $13 million per coin by 2045.

Saylor's prediction, which raises his $10 million June estimate, is merely a baseline. While urging attendees at the event in Nashville, Tennessee, to become "triple maxi" Bitcoin bulls, Saylor said, "It could be a $3 million bear case, it could be a $49 million bull case."

"You financed the house for Bitcoin, you buy Bitcoin, you flip all your assets to Bitcoin, and then you move to a cheap tax jurisdiction where you actually can avoid some taxes and invest an extra fifty grand in Bitcoin," Saylor expounded.

“What’s the result?” Saylor, who suggests a comparable tactic for nations and corporations, estimates a net worth of around $214 million.

Entropy vs. Bitcoin

The rules of thermodynamics, including entropy, the tendency of energy to evaporate over time, apply to all physical capital, according to Saylor. This includes bonds, stocks, Ferraris, and real estate in Miami Beach.

The value of tangible things is being eroded by entropy. According to Saylor, it's draining their energy and capital.

Cointelegraph shares that the Crown Estate in the United Kingdom has been in the hands of the Royal Family since 1066, but even under the best-case scenario, "physical assets might last 1,000 years, [but] probably about 50 to 75 years is the best you’re going to get," he added.

“There’s a reason it’s called Earth and not Heaven.”

Cryptocurrency's Infinite Lifespan

Among the exceptions, he mentioned Bitcoin. According to Saylor, cryptocurrency is "not in the physical world" and has "an infinite lifespan." He further claimed that "Bitcoin is immortal, immutable, and immaterial, […] and it is the solution to our economic dilemma."

Among the most prominent public Bitcoin holders globally, MicroStrategy stands out. With an average price of $36,798 per coin, it had 226,331 BTC as of June 20th, which was acquired for almost $8.33 billion.
