Bitget has added five perpetual contracts linked to company shares, giving traders around-the-clock access with leverage of up to 20x while the products confer no ownership of the referenced assets.
Bitget's Oct. 21 announcement lists contracts tied to eBay (EBAY), Interactive Brokers Group (IBKR), MSCI (MSCI), Hilton (HLT) and AbbVie (ABBV). They settle in Tether (USDT), with funding fees settled every eight hours. The exchange may revise leverage and margin ratios in response to market conditions.
Bitget says the contracts create no ownership interest in the referenced shares, associated stock tokens or indices.
The launch comes as traditional-asset perpetuals gain a larger share of trading at crypto venues tracked by Talos. Talos reported that they represented 18.5% of futures volume during Sept. 3-9, with daily volume of $18.8 billion. Crypto-perpetual volume declined as traditional-asset trading rose, while total activity across the tracked venues remained roughly flat. Talos said this growth gives venues a revenue base less tied to crypto-market cycles. EconoTimes previously covered the September comparison of traditional-asset contracts' share of tracked futures volume.
