A Bitmine Immersion Technologies update valued its staked Ether (ETH) at $12.3 billion in a snapshot taken at 2 p.m. ET Sunday, Oct. 25, with total holdings at 4.95% of the supply figure it used.
The Monday, Oct. 26 release put Bitmine’s ETH balance at 6,051,933, using a price of $2,356 per token. The company measured that amount against 122.2 million ETH, calculating it as 4.95% of supply. Its $15 billion portfolio also included 215 Bitcoin (BTC), $514 million in cash and marketable securities, and stakes valued at $180 million in Beast Industries and $76 million in Eightco Holdings.
Bitmine said it had reached 99% of its own goal to acquire 5% of ETH supply. The company traced its treasury strategy to June 30, 2025, and said it had bought ETH weekly since launch. Bitmine said it acquired 10,452 ETH during the week.
Bitmine also reported repurchasing 2.04 million common shares during the week at an average of $22.48 apiece. Its reported 2026 buybacks totaled 22.9 million shares for $399.6 million, averaging $17.48 per share. Management said future repurchases would depend on its assessment of the shares’ relative value, market conditions and the authorization already in place. The company has framed buybacks as serving shareholder value.
A week earlier, Bitmine reported a portfolio total of $15.1 billion; the Monday, Oct. 26 update gave $15 billion. ETH holdings rose by 10,452 between the snapshots, but the releases did not itemize the valuation change by asset.
Bitmine projected $318 million in annualized staking revenue based on 5.2 million ETH staked, and $368 million if it staked its entire ETH balance. The figures are company estimates. Bitmine Chairman Thomas “Tom” Lee said Ether was down 13% from its recent high, while $SOXX was down 20% over the same period.
