Bitwise's NEAR Protocol (NEAR) exchange-traded fund reported $86.97 million in net assets on Oct. 18, with its token balance more than 1.1 million higher than on Oct. 15.
Bitwise's disclosure put the Bitwise NEAR ETF's (NRR) net assets at $86,969,890 and listed 17,611,017.88 NEAR tokens valued at $86,998,428.37. On Oct. 15, the fund reported $82,360,192 in net assets and 16,510,412.80 tokens. That amounts to an increase of $4,609,698 in net assets and 1,100,605.08 tokens over the three days.
Those changes cannot, by themselves, be treated as net investor flows. SoSoValue data showed $2.61 million in net inflows to NRR on Oct. 16, as earlier coverage of the fund's inflows reported. That figure measures flows on a trading day, while the Bitwise figures compare the fund's holdings and net assets on two dates.
NRR began trading on NYSE Arca on Sept. 29. Bitwise lists a 0.75% sponsor fee and says staking rewards accrue to shareholders through the fund's net asset value. The fee reduces the amount of NEAR represented by each share.
