Blockaid removed StonkBrokers from its affected-services list and deleted its warning post before founder SimpleFarmer said the cited domain was not the platform’s official website.

On X, SimpleFarmer named StonkBrokers.io as the web address used by the platform and described it as official. He said his team had shut down the separate domain in Blockaid’s notice and called the warning a false positive.

The alert linked StonkBrokers to a suspected StepDrainer front-end attack; the wider inquiry also named Kintsu and Flap. Blockaid’s concern was that website code could divert wallet connections to fraudulent pages, as EconoTimes previously reported on the inquiry.

The potential exposure was at the website layer visitors use to reach each service. The earlier report said Blockaid was continuing to gather information as it investigated the suspected activity.
