While Blockchain is known as a means of keeping every financial sector that goes through it in check, it has a much bigger role in the horizon. Financial experts already see this and will be discussing it on May 19th when the Ethereal Summit is scheduled to launch. During the event, Blockchain pioneers are meant to come together to discuss its future uses.
The event will be held at 501 Union St, Brooklyn, NY, according to the event’s official website, where interested participants will also be able to book a ticket to the event. For those who might not have the money to actually pay the full price, the event is also offering scholarship opportunities by meeting their conditions.
“At Ethereal we are hosting a conversation about the future of the internet, culture, and society,” the site reads. “Diversity and inclusion are essential to make that conversation meaningful. If cost is prohibitive, please submit an application explaining why you are passionate about joining us at Ethereal. We have scholarship rates available for students, creators, early stage startups, and non-profits, and will reply as soon as possible.”
As to what attendees can expect at the event, it will include art exhibits of concepts related to Blockchain usage. Virtual reality will be featured as well, with keynote speakers and expert panels ready to provide insight as to what the future of Blockchain is likely to be.
Among the experts that will be attending include Blockchain renegade, Vinay Gupta and the creator of the first 3D Blockchain Model himself, Maximilian Bech, Futurism reports. Gupta’s specialty is the Ethereum initiative and she will be discussing exactly what it means to the financial industry. The issue of exclusivity and gender bias will apparently be addressed as well.
