The platform helps from the digital authentication services to streamline supplier vetting, and rendering service to emergency supplier onboarding.
To do so, ‘Rapid Supplier Connect’ enables the buyers and suppliers including non-traditional suppliers of medical equipment to help overcome shortages during the recovery
Thereby, they join the combating this pandemic circumstance by keeping hospitals and concerned support organizations well-equipped to swiftly trace the needed parties as and when needed, and expedite authentication and access nearby inventories of life-saving equipment. It blends a scalable blockchain for business network, proven supply chain solutions, and a network of dedicated industry and tech-savvies.
New York based largest healthcare chain has already teamed up with this IBM’s initiative. Northwell Health, a New York-based healthcare group comprising over 800 hospitals, has joined IBM’s Rapid Supplier Connect network.
