Crowdaura, a blockchain startup founded in 2015, has announced that it has been officially accepted into the Microsoft Ventures Accelerator program as part of the London 2016 cohort, making it one of the first blockchain startups to be accepted into this program.
The company said that one of the key reasons for its selection was that it is not built around being a Blockchain company, but a financial services company where Blockchain is just one aspect of its technology stack.
Crowdaura was also one of the fifteen startups selected to participate in Accenture FinTech Innovation Lab London on Level 39 in London’s Canary Wharf this year.
Avtar Sehra, Crowdaura CEO, said that that being a part of both the Microsoft and Accenture programs will be beneficial for its early clients as it will be able to leverage the technology resources of Microsoft and enterprise technology integration/execution expertise of Accenture to deliver the best solutions and services to its early clients.
Crowdaura is a platform solution for banks, brokers, exchanges and funds that makes it easier, cheaper, faster and safer to issue and manage financial products. The company achieves this through automation of key activities such as legal/regulatory document structuring, marketing, distribution, execution, clearing, settlement and administration.
