Bloom Drainer Trail Spanned Solana, EVM Networks and Zcash, Specter Says

The reported network counts total 2,153 addresses, one more than the stated overall figure of 2,152. Specter also identified a transfer of 26.099 Zcash (ZEC) into Sapling, Zcash’s shielded pool.

On-chain investigator Specter attributed a theft of nearly $1 million to the Bloom drainer, tracing transfers across Solana, EVM networks and Zcash while reporting address totals that do not reconcile.

Specter put the route at 2,152 addresses. Its breakdown listed 1,326 on Solana, 822 across EVM networks and five on Zcash, for a combined 2,153. That is one more than the stated overall total. The figures do not show which number is incorrect. The address counts describe routing and destination endpoints along the transfer path, rather than transactions.

Specter said funds repeatedly split into smaller transfers and later converged again, a pattern that may have been automated. The investigator also identified 26.099 ZEC moving into Sapling, Zcash’s shielded pool.

EconoTimes previously reported that Bloom Trading pledged full reimbursement after a theft valued at about $947,000, with 49 wallet addresses belonging to nine users affected, according to the company. Read the earlier report on Bloom Trading’s reimbursement pledge.
