“Boruto: Naruto Next Generations” Episode 85 is still moving forward with the Mitsuki Arc and it’s expected to end this month. Fans have been voicing their displeasure at how the animators are pacing the story; dragging the narrative along with a lot of filler episodes.
Right now, Boruto and Onoki are trapped inside the Sanzu Plains after the former inadvertently brought them to the dangerous training grounds. “Boruto: Naruto Next Generations” Episode 85 will have the main protagonist find the so-called Heart Stone, a factor that is the key to escaping the area.
Onoki explained that in order to find the stone, one needs to train intensely. Although the previous episode didn’t provide much training exercises, Onoki may already have kicked it off when he started teaching Boruto the art of foraging provisions. Hopefully, the protagonist will find the stone in “Boruto: Naruto Next Generations” Episode 85 so that the story can move forward.
Audiences are eager for the Mitsuki Arc to come to an end given how dragging everything has become. But for others, this narrative is essential in setting up the foundations of what’s to come, especially on the nature of Synthetic humans. After all, Mitsuki is one such being. The previous episode saw the other Synthetics discussing human nature and questioning whether or not they have souls residing within them. There’s no doubt that the animators will be expanding on this narrative on “Boruto: Naruto Next Generations” Episode 85.
It goes without saying that the topic of a human soul is a complicated matter. Artificial though the Synthetics are, it’s safe to assume that they have a soul residing within them as most believe that the soul is the collection of experiences and memories that an individual have. And since Mitsuku and the rest of the Synthetics are capable of accumulating both, then it’s probable that they are harboring such a spiritual part inside them. As for when “Boruto: Naruto Next Generations” Episode 85 is going to be released, it’s slated to air on Dec. 9.
