Manchester United lost 3-0 to Bournemouth at Old Trafford on Oct. 25, with Rayan, Marcus Tavernier and Evanilson scoring in the Premier League defeat, according to ESPN.

The defeat increased the pressure on Michael Carrick. Liverpool recorded their first home league win of the season, while Newcastle United also won away in the day's five completed matches.

Rayan opened the scoring for Bournemouth in the 38th minute, and Marcus Tavernier added the second in the 43rd. Those goals gave the visitors a two-goal advantage before the interval.

Evanilson scored in the 71st minute to complete Bournemouth's victory. Manchester United finished without a goal, making their defeat the largest by score among the day's completed Premier League matches.

Liverpool beat Brighton & Hove Albion 2-0 at Anfield, with both goals coming in the opening 21 minutes. A Pascal Gross own goal put the home side ahead in the 17th minute.

Alexander Isak scored Liverpool's second in the 21st minute, four minutes after the opener. The score stayed at 2-0 through the remainder of the match as Liverpool secured their first home league victory of the campaign.

Newcastle United beat Crystal Palace 2-0 at Selhurst Park through second-half goals from William Osula and Harvey Barnes. Osula broke the deadlock in the 47th minute, shortly after the interval.

Barnes added Newcastle's second in the 58th minute, extending the visitors' lead 11 minutes after Osula's opener. Palace finished without scoring, and the defeat added to the pressure on Pierre Sage, ESPN said.

Hull City drew 1-1 with Brentford at the MKM Stadium, where the attendance was 24,259. Oliver McBurnie put Hull ahead with a penalty in the 24th minute, giving the home side the first goal.

Dango Ouattara equalised for Brentford in the 63rd minute. Neither side added another goal, leaving Hull with a draw after they had held the lead at halftime.

Hull preserved their unbeaten home record, but their run without a victory reached seven games. The draw was one of two on the day, alongside the goalless match between Sunderland and Leeds United.

Sunderland and Leeds finished 0-0 at the Stadium of Light in front of 46,182 spectators. Their match was the only one of the five completed fixtures on Oct. 25 in which neither team scored.
