Reuters cited persistent dollar buying and expected overseas debt-payment outflows. It also reported Brent crude near $115 a barrel Thursday morning.
Hindustan Times published opposing opening readings; the Federal Reserve held its target range at 3.75%-4% on Wednesday.
UBS also projects Brent at $95 a barrel in March 2027 and $90 in June 2027. Visible global oil stocks have fallen by more than 500 million barrels since February.
