MCLEAN, Va., March 20, 2018 -- Deep Water Point, a leader in federal market consulting, today announced the addition of BG(R) Ronald Bouchard, U.S. Army to its Partner team. As a Partner, Bouchard will help lead Deep Water Point’s product focused business sector.
“The ability to deliver valued support to product companies requires an in-depth understanding of the federal product market, the government’s acquisition environment and organizational navigation challenges. The pressures product companies face with quarterly sales quotas and continual market demand for increased performance can be overwhelming,” said Paul Garver, Deep Water Point’s Partner and General Manager for the Product Company Sector, and former President of Quest Software Public Sector. “Ron has been working with the product team for a few years, and has both an astute understanding of this market sector and experience within the Department of Defense (DOD) and Industry, uniquely qualifying him to help address this burgeoning growth area of our company.”
Prior to joining Deep Water Point, Bouchard served as Senior Vice President and Deputy General Manager, Global Services Sector and General Manager, DOD Enterprise Services Group for NCI Information Systems, where he was responsible for providing leadership, direction and oversight to the Sector’s four operational units. At NCI, he served as a key business opportunity strategist, executive lead on proposals, and operations lead on large proposal efforts.
Bouchard joined NCI after retiring from the U.S. Army. He has experience in planning, implementing and overseeing automation and communications systems for the U.S. Army and for joint organizations. His assignments included: Director, Resource Management, U.S. Army Air Defense Artillery Center and Fort Bliss; Chief of Staff, U.S. Army Cadet Command; Commander, 1st Signal Brigade; Executive Officer to the Commander, UNC/CFC/USFK; Deputy Commanding General, U.S. Army Signal Center and Fort Gordon; Director for Communications System (J6), U.S. Pacific Command; and, Deputy Chief of Staff G-6, U.S. Army Forces Command.
Deep Water Point’s product sector provides a wide-array of government and industry subject matter experts – addressing the different dimensions of the product market, market strategies and teaming partner relationships – who have elevated the company’s position as one of the leading product sales consultancies in the federal environment. Coupled with its enterprise and small business services sectors, the company is a comprehensive provider of services to its diverse and expanding client base.
