British Airways has resumed its Heathrow–Dubai route after a suspension that Gulf News and The National described as lasting eight months, restoring a direct connection during the winter schedule.

Flightradar24's flight history identifies BA105 as the first flight back on the route. It records the plane departing London on Nov. 3 and arriving in Dubai on Nov. 4.

The airline's March notice included Dubai among destinations with canceled flights. It said regional service limits would continue amid uncertainty and airspace problems.

The Dubai restart does not include Abu Dhabi. British Airways said flights there will remain suspended until winter 2027–28, according to Khaleej Times and later reporting.

Gulf News, The Independent and The National reported, citing British Airways, that the carrier is operating one flight each way per day this winter. The outlets also said the airline plans to increase Dubai service to two daily flights in summer 2027.
