Attilio One named Buck Institute for Research on Aging President and CEO Dr. Eric Verdin co-chairman, tying its commercial longevity service to a $2,500 assessment the company says he designed.

In its Oct. 16 announcement, Attilio described Verdin’s role as a way to draw on geroscience research, which studies aging. The company said he would advise on the scientific basis for care provided to members. Attilio describes itself as a health and longevity platform and presents the assessment as a tool to measure and track health across several areas.

Attilio calls the product the Dr. Verdin Baseline Assessment. Its website describes it as having nine components; listed measures include bloodwork, a DEXA scan, VO₂ max, glucose, blood pressure, sleep, capacity and PhenoAge.

The company’s announcement says members are offered the assessment for $2,500. Attilio’s costs page also displays $1,000 under “Year Two,” without explaining how that figure fits the listed price.

The Buck Institute identifies Verdin as its president and CEO and says he joined in 2016. Attilio CEO and founder Paul A. Pagnato said, “Eric is all in on this mission.”

Attilio says it launched in September 2026. Its events page lists a gathering at Stanford University on Oct. 29, followed by one at the Buck Institute on Oct. 30.
