A Nov. 3 snapshot of Binance’s Bitcoin (BTC) perpetual order book put displayed buy orders $14.07 million above asks, a point-in-time reading of posted market interest.
Buy orders totaled about $58.79 million against $44.72 million in asks. The gap equaled 13.6% of combined displayed depth. That percentage compares the gap with the total value of displayed bids and asks.
One bid covered 141.595 BTC at $76,500, valued at about $10.83 million. That price was roughly 0.12% below the book’s $76,593 midpoint. Perpetual contracts have no set expiry and are designed to follow the underlying asset’s price.
The reading contrasted with a prior Binance snapshot showing asks ahead by $25.47 million. The two readings capture separate moments. A book snapshot records orders visible on Binance at capture; it cannot establish which orders were later filled, how long they stayed open or the broader trading volume across venues.
