The groundbreaking series is a collection of exclusive events for investment industry executives looking to improve their asset-management strategies and advance their market knowledge with the guidance of some of the most experienced minds CFA Society New York has to offer.
Post-80th Anniversary Asset Owner Summit, the Asset Owner Series® will have featured chief investment officers, deputy chief investment officers and other C-Level investment executives from sovereign wealth funds, insurance companies, single family offices, multi-family offices, endowments, foundations, private banks, national pensions, corporate pensions, institutional investment consultants, public pensions and union pensions that collectively oversee in excess of $35 trillion in assets under management or advisory. That estimated figure accounts for approximately one-third of total global institutional assets.
The first edition of the Asset Owner Series® outside of the CFA Society New York will take place in Hong Kong in conjunction with the Hong Kong Society of Financial Analysts (HKSFA) under the leadership of HKSFA President Ashley Khoo in January 2018. The objective of the recently established HKSFA Asset Owner Series is to host C-Level asset owner investment executive speakers who represent firms that collectively manage in excess of US$10 trillion in assets (roughly HK$78 trillion). It is anticipated that the HKSFA Asset Owner Series events will be cumulatively attended by more than 1,000 investment professionals between 2018 and 2021.
