ChangXin Memory Technologies (CXMT) projected net profit of 131 billion yuan ($19.58 billion) to 132.5 billion yuan for January through September 2026, reversing a year-earlier loss, CNBC reported from a Google translation of its filing.
CNBC said the filing was issued Friday, Oct. 16. CNBC's translation put CXMT's revenue estimate at 265 billion to 270 billion yuan, implying a year-over-year increase of 232.9 billion to 237.9 billion yuan. The company reported a net loss of 5.28 billion yuan for that period last year.
CXMT linked the forecast to stronger demand for AI computing, which it said had grown since the second half of 2025. The company said the demand contributed to tighter global supplies of dynamic random-access memory (DRAM) and higher prices, CNBC reported from the translated filing.
CNBC reported that CXMT shares fell 6.5% Monday.
