Canada's trade tribunal found a preliminary basis for linking alleged dumping and subsidies on Chinese truck and bus tires to injury in the domestic industry.

The Canadian International Trade Tribunal’s Oct. 30 determination in preliminary inquiry PI-2026-005 described the injury finding as a “reasonable indication.” The inquiry was conducted under the Special Import Measures Act.

The Canada Border Services Agency will continue its investigations and issue preliminary determinations by Nov. 30, the tribunal said.
