Cardano price extended its strong rally on Monday, climbing to $0.273 after gaining nearly 10%, following a 6% advance in the previous session. The move made ADA one of the strongest-performing major cryptocurrencies as the broader crypto market posted more modest gains.
Bitcoin remained above $85,700, Ethereum held above $2,730, and XRP traded above $1.520. Cardano’s stronger performance came amid growing interest in RealFi, improving on-chain activity and increased derivatives positioning.
The rally gained momentum after RealFi launched its mainnet on October 3. Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson has invested in the real-world asset platform, giving ADA investors another utility-focused narrative. Attention is also turning to Cardano’s TOKEN2049 Singapore appearance on October 7–8.
Cardano has now gained about 27% over the past month. Network activity also strengthened as users sought FluidTokens incentives, helping total value locked rise 20% in five days. FluidTokens is offering a 6% ADA yield through December 31.
Derivatives data reinforced the bullish outlook. CoinGlass showed ADA futures open interest rising 15% over 24 hours to $614.98 million, while futures trading volume approached $1 billion. Positive funding rates indicated increased demand for leveraged long positions.
ADA liquidations totaled $2.02 million, with short positions accounting for $1.89 million as bearish traders were forced out during the rally.
Institutional interest also attracted attention after T. Rowe Price reportedly included ADA in an active U.S. crypto ETF alongside Bitcoin and Ethereum, although formal confirmation from the asset manager is still needed.
ADA recently reached approximately $0.276 before pulling back. The $0.260 level now represents important short-term support. Technical indicators remain constructive, with the RSI at 61 and the MACD line at 0.0052, above its 0.0030 signal line.
A sustained four-hour close above $0.270 could put $0.280 within reach. Breaking that resistance could strengthen the case for a Cardano price rally toward $0.30. However, losing $0.260 could send ADA toward $0.240, while a deeper decline may expose the $0.220 support zone.
