GLENDALE, Calif., Jan. 31, 2018 -- Health Data Vision, Inc. (HDVI), a leader in the U.S. medical record retrieval and review (MRR) industry, announced today that CareSource, headquartered in Dayton, OH, is leveraging its MRCS 4.3, Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform to complement their critical Quality Improvement and HEDIS® 2018 submission efforts.
With expanding Medicaid, ACA Marketplace and Medicare populations, CareSource sought a partner that could provide high-quality chart retrieval and abstraction services while also providing technology that would enable CareSource to actively engage their provider network and HDVI’s abstraction team, to ensure the highest possible outcomes.
HDVI’s operations team facilitate in-house retrieval and abstracting, while offering medical providers numerous options for transferring requested charts. HDVI’s proprietary software, Secure Virtual Print (SVP), eliminates paper, reduces provider abrasion, and accelerates receipt of medical records. Additionally, the MRRV Audit Wizard significantly reduces time spent preparing and submitting both convenience and validation audits.
MRCS provides real-time visibility and full transparency into CareSource’s medical record retrieval and abstraction results. It enables CareSource to control their timeline, manage internal and external SLAs, determine whether they are ready for audit, and quickly and easily create HEDIS® packages to give to auditors.
“With a shift to value-based care, health plans are investing more in Quality/HEDIS®,” said Jay Ackerman, CEO of HDVI. “Our mission is to provide health plans such as CareSource with the technology and expert services to confidently manage these critical and time-sensitive cycles.”
