Cemex, S.A.B. de C.V. reported 8% year-over-year revenue growth to $4.59 billion in the third quarter, while cash generation set a third-quarter record as operating measures improved.
Free cash flow from operations amounted to $723 million, a 34% increase from the year-earlier quarter and the company’s highest third-quarter total. EBITDA increased 12%, and EBIT rose 19%.
Earnings from continuing operations were 28 cents per ADS.
Acquisitions lifted revenue to €708.9 million, but diluted EPS fell to €0.21 from €0.38.
Free cash flow was $53.8 million, or 89% of profit after tax, in the September quarter as Encora contract transfers delayed some billing and collections.
Sales reached $676.043 million in the quarter, and revised targets also include a higher non-GAAP operating margin and diluted earnings per share.
