Chainlink said its reserve held 6,475,076 Chainlink (LINK) tokens on Oct. 30 after a 427,577-token monthly addition, but the tally was not final for October.
The additions were valued at more than $5.3 million. Chainlink posted the update at 5:30 p.m. ET (21:30 UTC) on Oct. 30, before the month ended. Because the post did not specify an end date for the count, the 427,577 LINK figure covers October through an unspecified date.
Using the Q3 closing balance of 6,047,498.3150 LINK as a baseline, the stated October addition implies 6,475,075.3150 LINK. Chainlink’s update listed 6,475,076 LINK, a 0.685 LINK difference; its whole-token figure does not explain the gap.
Chainlink says enterprise revenue and on-chain service use fund reserve LINK purchases through Payment Abstraction. The reserve is held in an Ethereum smart contract, where withdrawal requests are subject to a multiday timelock before processing.
A previous EconoTimes report measured a 431,900 LINK gain across 30 rolling days; that period differs from the count in the Oct. 30 update.
