Israeli broadcaster Channel 12 reported Friday that Flydubai will keep its Tel Aviv service suspended through Nov. 30, while Anadolu Agency reported that the airline had not announced the extension.

Channel 12 gave no reason for the continued suspension. Flydubai’s Sept. 30 statement covered flights to and from Israel, while Channel 12’s report concerned the Tel Aviv service specifically.

United Arab Emirates prosecutors alleged that the co-pilot intended to take control of the Dubai-to-Tel Aviv flight and crash it into Ben Gurion Airport’s passenger terminal, as detailed in an earlier EconoTimes account of the prosecutors’ allegations. The United Arab Emirates attorney general said passengers, a cabin crew member and a pilot assigned to the return trip restrained the co-pilot. That pilot and another pilot then took over and landed at Tabuk Airport in Saudi Arabia.
