After many years of working in the corporate world, Christine discussed the circumstances that led to launching her business and the benefits of being a small business owner. She touched on both the rewarding and challenging experiences faced along the way. Petraglia urged audience members to find ways to be “resourceful and relevant” in order to bring value to their clients.
“It’s humbling to address this group,” said Ms. Petraglia. “Launching and growing a small business takes a lot of knowledge, insight, and resiliency. I’m pleased to share some insights with this fine group of professionals and small business leaders.”
About Christine
Christine Petraglia has many years of financial services experience in client relations, sales, marketing and investor relations. As an entrepreneur and small business owner, she leverages her investment community contacts to increase clients' visibility with their respective audiences.
Prior to operating her own financial communications firm and working at a smaller agency she was at the New York Stock Exchange as the Director of Client Services, working daily with top management of NYSE listed companies. Her responsibilities included Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, marketing, account management, and listed-company services. Other positions prior to the NYSE were with leading wire houses and investment management firms, including: PIMCO in London, Oppenheimer Capital, Prudential Securities, and Nuveen Investments. Her cumulative contributions led to the launch of new investment products, a $2 billion increase in managed assets, and international expansion.
She graduated from CUNY, Staten Island with a BS in Business and received her MBA from Fordham University’s Gabelli School of Business.
